Squamish Oceanfront Lands The 20-year construction on 103 acres will provide 2,300 jobs by build-out and eventually include residential units to house about 6,500 people, recreation amenities, an educational institution, a waterfront park and a commercial hub. Construction will start in 2016 with the main peninsula road, followed by initial work on the oceanfront park. Garibaldi at Squamish – Development

The Garibaldi at Squamish project is a proposed year around destination resort on provincial Crown land at Brohm ridge, approximately 15km North of Squamish, 45km from the Resort Municipality of Whistler and 80km from Vancouver.
